Idaho

Yesterday I went up to Idaho with my mom and the kids to surprise my grandma for her birthday. She was very surprised and we had a lot of fun!

Jackson - 4 weeks

I can't believe it has been 4 weeks since Jackson was born. Time is going by so fast and he is getting big way too fast. He weighs 8.8 pounds. That is a lot considering he was only 5 lbs 13 oz when he was born. He is still a very good baby. He is starting to be awake a lot more during the day. His record is 5 hours straight! I just wish those 5 hours would mean he slept more at night...but he still wakes up about every 3 hours to eat.

Fold Your Arms

Tonight when Josh was saying the prayer before dinner, Kallie decided to fold her arms. We haven't really worked on trying to teach her to fold her arms because we thought she was too little. But she did it tonight all by herself!

Making Tortillas

Today Josh made breakfast! He made breakfast burritos with homemade tortillas that he used to make when he lived in Spain. They were so yummy. Kallie was his taste tester and seemed to enjoy the tortillas!

Hide & Seek

Kallie has learned how to play hide and seek. She is really good at "seeking", but not so great at hiding yet...she always picks the same place to hide!

Kallie - 15 months

Kallie turned 15 months old today!

• Kallie has learned some more signs. She can now sign banana, drink, fish (for goldfish crackers), and thank you.
• Her new words this past month are Ash (for Ashlyn) and shoes.
• She has 12 teeth now (6 on top, 6 on bottom).
• She hates when doors are open. She especially hates when the bathroom door or pantry door is open. If a door is open, she will close it.
• She loves turning lights on and off.
• She loves her little brother.

Kallie had her 15 month doctor check up today. She is in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. She weighs 22 pounds 5 ounces and is 30 inches.

Finally!

Kallie has been trying for months to drink out of a straw and tonight she finally figured it out. As you can see, she was VERY excited!

Jackson - 2 Week Dr. Appointment

Jackson had his 2 week doctor's appointment today. He weighs 7 pounds (25th percentile) and is 20 inches (20th percentile). He weighed 5 lbs 9 oz when we left the hospital, so he has gained a lot in just a week and a half.

New Jacket & Vacuuming

Today was a little chilly outside, so Kallie wore her new jacket. She loved it. She wouldn't let me take it off. She has an obsession with clothes.

After playing outside on the patio, Kallie decided to help me vacuum. She did a really good job on the tile. She had a hard time pushing it on the carpet though.

My Kids

Sometimes I still can't believe that I have two kids. It can be pretty crazy at times, but I love these two. They make me so happy. I feel so lucky to be blessed with two healthy and beautiful kids!

Being Silly

Kallie loves to have the back door open so she can go outside on the deck. Tonight she was laying on the rug talking to something outside. She sure had a lot to say.
