Christmas

Christmas morning I woke up at 7:00 and my kids were already downstairs checking out what Santa brought them! I was so sad I missed the look on their faces when they saw everything. So we re-enacted the morning and made them walk down the stairs again. We spent the morning at our house. It's the first Christmas we have spent the morning just with our family. Josh made breakfast then we went to my parents house and then Josh's moms for lunch.

Preschool Christmas Program

Tonight was Kallie's preschool Christmas program. She didn't do anything! She just stood up there. Preschool has been a hard adjustment for her, so I'm glad she stayed up there the whole time. Once we got in the car, she started singing all the songs though!

Until my kids are old enough to not touch our Christmas village and other decorations, we will decorate like this....

Kallie's 1/2 Birthday

Since Kallie's birthday is in the summer, tomorrow they are celebrating her birthday at pre-school. We made this poster and she is so excited for tomorrow!

Santa!

Today the kids saw Santa at a family Christmas party.

When we pulled up to the church Kallie said, "This is not the North Pole mom!"

Jackson wasn't so sure what to think at first but was okay once Santa gave him candy.

Both kids didn't cry, I was impressed!

Decorating Tree & Christmas Blanket

Tonight we decorating the tree and got out our Christmas blanket. 

One of my favorite holiday traditions growing up was our Christmas blanket and I'm excited to continue that tradition with my family. My mom made it for us a few years ago. Every night throughout December we rotate through who gets to use the blanket.
