13 MONTHS

Kallie is 13 months old today! Here are some things about Kallie:

• Kallie is officially walking! She rarely crawls now.
• She is working on trying to master the art of walking while drinking from her sippy cup (see picture below).
• She no longer has a binki!
• She has 8 teeth and she is working on another one (6 on top and almost 3 on the bottom). 
• She can sign milk. If she really wants her milk, she will use both hands to sign milk! She has also learned that we keep her milk in the fridge so sometimes she will go to the fridge and pull on the handle trying to open the door to get her milk.
• She is eating real food and loving it (she was done with baby food at 10 months).
• She loves pizza, bananas, cereal bars, cheerios, pasta, cheese, chicken, hamburger, cottage cheese, avocados, corn, crackers and almost anything that mommy and daddy are eating.
• She still hates peas (that's my girl!).
• She loves to share her food. 
• When she is done with her food, she throws it at us or on the floor.
• She is down to one nap a day and will usually sleep for 2-3 hours.
• She loves to empty out drawers and containers (and sometimes we're lucky enough that she puts everything back).
• Overall, she doesn't like watching TV or movies. Her attention span is about 2 minutes. If we're in the car though, she likes watching Baby Signing Time.
• She loves to dance when she hears music.
• She can give high fives.
• She loves climbing on things.
• She usually prefers her Aunt Ashlyn over me.
• She can fake cry until she gets what she wants.
• She loves going swimming.
• She loves being outside.
