Kallie's Phrases

It amazes me how many words Kallie can say. She says many new words a day. Here are some phrases lately...

  • "Hello! How are you? (pauses for a few seconds) Good!" (She says this as she holds a phone to her ear.)
  • "Mommy, I love you." (my favorite)
  • "Mom, Jacks hit me."
  • "Oh no! Jacks got my milk. Jacks! Give me my milk!"
  • "I want a dora bike and a helmet." (She says this when we ask her what Santa is bringing her for Christmas. She also signs bike and helmet while she says the words.)
  • "I don't like it." (She tells me this when she doesn't want to try a new food or when she doesn't want to do something I ask her to do."
  • "I don't like diapers mommy. I like pullups." (This girl needs to be potty-trained soon!)
  • "Baby blue bird fall out of tree. Baby blue bird is sad. Baby blue bird wants its mommy." (She says this with a really sad tone in her voice. I try not to laugh every time she tells me this.)
  • "Where's my daddy, mommy?" (She LOVES her daddy.)
  • "Mom this is delicious!"
  • "Mom you need scissors." (She said this today as I was trying to open a package.)
  • "I get my swim suit. I go to the beach!"
