Brigham is still in the hospital. He is struggling with breathing while he is eating. His oxygen levels will drop very low during some of his feedings and he starts turning blue. It is really scary! They think it is partially because of his acid reflux, so he blocks off his airway. When he does this, I usually have to squeeze his cheeks to pop his tongue down. We hope he gets over this soon so he can come home. One nurse told me he might be in the hospital for months (NOT something to tell a NICU mom). I asked the doctor about it and he said he is hoping he will be home this week! Fingers crossed!
